Digital Forensics — Programe Identity

Digital Forensics — Program brand package
I worked with an incredibly talented team at Territory Studio on the production of a TV brand package for an upcoming four-part series focused on Digital Forensics.

We embarked on the challenge of bringing real-life murder cases to life through a scalable visual identity system. This encompassed creating a program identity with data display systems for mapping, call-logs, messages, and titles, enhancing the audience's understanding of investigative processes resulting in a cohesive and visually compelling brand package that immersed viewers in the intricate details of each case.

Program — Visual Identity

Development of a bold and recognisable typographic system which worked alongside grid and information display. We developed a crime board approach, where aspects of the case would be presented, and evidence joined together using red threads, often found in other leading on-screen crime interpretations.
Program — Concept

Initial concept ideas which won the project — looked into "Seeing the Unseen" — using LiDar, point cloud and data reveals through disturbance and glitch. The red thread becomes a prominent factor in our design.
Program — Call logs and data sheets

Grid systems used to display the analysis of intricate call data logs, a prominent tool used by the digital forensic.
Program — Mapping

Important locations would need to be factored into the program and we developed various systems to deal with the map locations, interpreted data from telephone and wifi masts and unseen in formation using LiDar and point cloud.
Program — Data moshing and disturbance

As a way of transitioning between information points, R&D looked at the art of data-moshing and digital disturbance, seen in these early tests.
Program — Titles

We had the privilege of developing the program titles which took our overall "red thread" concept and "Seeing the unseen" into a revealing motion sequence.
